Ron Skoronski Scores on 2 Giant Bucks!
October 24th, 2007
Good friend Ron Skoronski of Southern Iowa had an unbelievable year bow hunting on his farm. On October 24, 2007 Ron was hunting a new stand for the 1st time on a morning hunt near a pond. Ron was watching some does when he saw a reflection of a big buck in the water walking his way. The buck walked into 12 yards before Ron made the shot to anchor the 185 6/8 10 pointer. Three days later on the 27th Ron was back hunting trying to kill a particular buck he calls “Bag of Bones.” That morning he came steps from killing the giant. Later that evening, Ron didn’t want to risk blowing out the big buck because of a bad wind so he opted to hunt a different stand and wait to hunt Bag of Bones a different day. Little did Ron know that he would kill this massive 6 x 5 that scores 201 5/8. Congratulations to Ron for two super bucks. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
